Genting Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) showcased strong gains in its 2025 sustainability report, contributing over SGD 2.1 million to community programs benefiting 24,700 people.

Executive Chairman Lim Kok Thay noted that as global tourism evolves, the "RWS 2.0" expansion is embedding sustainability into core operations. This strategic pivot aims to enhance guest stays while securing long-term business stability within Singapore’s competitive tourism landscape.

Socially, the group has focused on youth empowerment and the arts. Initiatives like the "Youth Ocean Ambassador" program foster marine conservation, while a seed fund supports local grassroots arts groups. A notable highlight is the opening of The Laurus hotel, which features artworks by disabled artists in every guest room. These efforts successfully extend the resort's reach beyond traditional gaming, weaving the brand into the local cultural fabric and social good of Singapore.

On the environmental front, the new Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore achieved the Green Mark Platinum Zero Energy rating, running entirely on solar power. Additionally, new retail and hotel developments now utilize smart airflow systems and real-time energy tracking to cut usage. These achievements helped Genting Singapore maintain its "AA" MSCI ESG rating in 2025, underscoring a successful balance between profitability and environmental purpose in Singapore.
