São Paulo, July 30, 2026. With the participation of government authorities, industry associations, operators, manufacturers, suppliers, and investors from Brazil and abroad, GAT Official Launch Brasil 2026 is holding today its conference program at the Luiz Nazareno Hall of the Jockey Club de São Paulo, marking the official entry of GAT Events into the largest gaming and betting market in the region.
Following last night's exclusive welcome dinner—which brought together leading industry representatives in a high-level networking environment—Thursday's agenda convenes renowned national and international experts to discuss the current landscape, key challenges, and opportunities shaping the Brazilian market.

One of the event's most significant moments will be the official presentation of the GAT Brasil Ambassadors, a distinguished group of industry leaders supporting the launch of GAT Events in the country and contributing to the strengthening of dialogue between the public and private sectors.
The conference program addresses strategic topics including the strengthening of regulation and enforcement, the evolution of lotteries, sports integrity, the status of prediction markets, the convergence between land-based and online gaming, the importance of responsible gaming, and the outlook for the development of land-based casinos in Brazil over the medium term.
Alex W. Pariente, Chair of GAT Official Launch Brasil 2026 and Founder & Principal of Pariente Advisory, set the tone for the day:
"Eighteen months after regulation, Brazil has already demonstrated that it knows how to build a market. The question bringing regulators, operators, and investors together today is a different one: how to transform a legalized market into an investable market. Legalization was the milestone; investability is the condition. That is the central theme of everything that will be discussed today."
Pariente added:
"A market becomes investable when regulation, enforcement, and legal certainty advance together. Brazil is building those three pillars in real time, and this is the conversation the industry needs to have with institutional seriousness."
World Gaming Business, part of Clarion Gaming, is supporting this launch as the Official Media Partner, strengthening the event's international reach and reaffirming its strategic alliance with the GAT Events Circuit.
GAT Official Launch Brasil is proudly supported by Pariente Advisory, Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), Gamanza, BetConstruct, Pay4Fun, and Smart Núcleo.
José Aníbal Aguirre, Founder and CEO of GAT Events, emphasized that this launch marks the beginning of a long-term commitment to Brazil:
"Today we take a historic step for GAT Events. Brazil occupies a strategic position in the global development of the gaming industry, and we aim to contribute to the sustainable growth of the country's gaming and betting sector through a permanent platform—both virtual and in-person—for knowledge sharing, the development of strong partnerships, and the creation of business opportunities. This is the beginning of a project that will continue to grow in the coming years, with a strong emphasis on education, analysis, training, and the oversight inherent in responsible gaming as a pillar of industry development."
Liliana Costa, LATAM Director of World Gaming Business, reaffirmed her organization's commitment to a continent-wide collaboration:
"Brazil is today one of the most relevant markets for the global gaming industry. World Gaming Business is proud to support the launch of GAT Brazil and strengthen our alliance with GAT Events. This collaboration extends far beyond São Paulo: we will be present throughout the entire GAT circuit across Latin America, promoting knowledge sharing, networking, and business development for an increasingly integrated and innovative industry."
As the major institutional announcement of this inaugural edition, GAT Events confirmed the launch of the 1st Latin American Responsible Gaming Congress, to be held on October 20–21, 2027, as part of GAT Brazil 2027, in partnership with the Association of State Lotteries, Pools and Casinos of Argentina (ALEA).
The initiative will bring together the region's leading regulatory authorities to promote institutional cooperation and best practices in regulation, supervision, responsible gaming, and the fight against illegal gambling, positioning Brazil as a major forum for public policy discussions on the gaming industry in Latin America.
With this launch, GAT Events officially begins its presence in Brazil and reaffirms its commitment to building a permanent platform for innovation, dialogue, and the sustainable development of the gaming industry, projecting from São Paulo a hub with Latin American and global reach.
