Regulators, operators, suppliers and investors to meet at Mandarin Oriental Makati, 10-12 March 2027

MANILA, Philippines, 2 November 2026 - Winna Media has announced the Asian Gaming Congress (AGC), a new conference bringing together the people shaping Asia's regulated online gaming industry. The first edition, themed "Building for the Future", takes place at the newly opened Mandarin Oriental Makati from 10 to 12 March 2027.

The Philippines has Asia's most established regulated online gaming market, but it is under pressure. Licensed operators are reported to capture only 25 to 40 per cent of online gaming revenue, with the rest going to the illegal market. Advertising is tightly restricted, cash incentives are limited, a comprehensive online gaming law is still awaiting Congress, and newer Asian jurisdictions are competing hard for investment. AGC will put these issues to the people who can change them.

Day One (Thursday 11 March) focuses on regulation and the market. Sessions cover the future of Philippine regulation, including plans to separate PAGCOR's regulatory and operating roles and tighten AML and KYC rules; how the country can hold its position as new Asian hubs emerge; integrated resorts moving online; running a multichannel business; tackling the grey market; and whether the advertising ban protects players or pushes them towards unlicensed sites. The day closes with a technology panel on KYC, responsible gaming, fraud and CRM, followed by networking drinks.

Day Two (Friday 12 March) turns to products and players: AI in game design and live dealer, the rise of bingo in the Philippines, engaging Gen Z through social and gamified play, retaining players without cash rebates, and the outlook for lottery across Asia. A closing panel covers the trends expected in Asia over the next five years, from AI-driven personalisation to the convergence of gaming, entertainment and prediction markets.

Confirmed speakers include:

● Mark Gilbert, VP for Online Gaming Operations, Newport World Resorts

● Lyssa Pagano, Assistant General Manager, PCSO, and APLA representative

● David Carruthers, Principal & CEO, David Carruthers Consulting

● Jonathan Pettemerides, Founding Partner, KYPROCK Group

● Joe Pisano, CEO, Jade Sports Entertainment

● Paul Foster, CEO, Crucial Compliance● Nick Hill, CEO, PremierChain

The event opens on the evening of Wednesday 10 March with pre-registration drinks, so delegates can collect their badges early and start networking. AGC is designed for senior decision-makers, including C-suite leaders and heads of online gaming, strategy, CRM and promotions at casino, sportsbook, online and bingo operators, as well as game and software suppliers, lawyers, regulators and investors. Rosalind Wade, Founder & CEO of Winna Media, said: "Every serious business in Philippine gaming is facing the same challenge. The regulated market works, but it's competing with an illegal market that doesn't play by the rules, while the rules themselves keep changing. AGC brings regulators, operators and suppliers together to ask the questions usually saved for dinner. If you're building a business in this market, Manila in March is where you need to

be."

Early-bird registration is now open at winnamedia.com/asian-gaming-congress-2027, and sponsorship enquiries are welcome.
